Designing a ride-hailing platform that reached 1K+ downloads - CanGo

This UI/UX design project was for CanGo, a Sri Lankan ride-hailing platform with a passenger app, a driver app, a marketing website, and a customer management dashboard. I worked from early concept through build support, so the product looked consistent across apps, web, and marketing.

My Role

• Created the logo and visual identity (colours, typography, UI style)
• Designed UI/UX for the passenger app and driver app (mobile screens and flows)
• Designed the website and customer management dashboard
• Built the front end for the website and dashboard
• Designed social media and marketing assets
• Provided ongoing design feedback during development

How I Did It

• Reviewed similar ride-hailing products to understand the patterns users expect
• Defined the main journeys and mapped required screens for passenger and driver sides
• Built information architecture and wireframes before final UI
• Designed high-fidelity desktop and mobile screens using one brand system
• Supported build by sharing assets, reviewing implemented screens, and refining based on feedback

Result

• Delivered a consistent product experience across apps, website, dashboard, and marketing
• Helped the team present the product clearly to users and partners
• Supported growth from zero to 1,000+ downloads on Google Play during my time on the project
